CONGRATULATIONS MRS. STEPHANIE SANDERS

I have lived in the wonderful state of Georgia my entire life. I was born and raised in the small town of Bremen. When my husband and I got married we moved to Douglas County. Our daughter has grown up in the county, and she will graduate from high school this year. We have resided in Douglas County for over 25 years now. I have had the privilege to serve the citizens of this county the whole 25 years, early on in retail jobs and now as a teacher. My desire to become a teacher began while working as a parapro within the county. The daily interaction with the children was something that inspired me to get my Bachelor’s Degree. I have been teaching at South Douglas for 8 years now, and I know that I am blessed to work with the students and staff at the school.   My goal has always been to make a difference in my students’ lives. There is nothing more precious than to see the light in a child’s eyes brighten because of something I have taught, shown, or said to them.
