Bio

Hello!  My name is Anna Nesbitt and I would like to introduce myself as the new school counselor at South Douglas Elementary.  I am thrilled to be a part of the South Douglas family and look forward to getting to know you and your child(ren) this year.  The 2016-2017 year marks my thirteenth year in education and eleventh year serving as a school counselor in Douglas County.   Prior to becoming a school counselor, I was a classroom teacher for two years with experience in fourth grade and kindergarten.

I have been married to my wonderful husband for 14 years.  We have a bright, beautiful 10 year old daughter and a spunky, fun 4 year old son.  In our free time, our family loves to go camping and visit new places.

I love working with children and families and truly enjoy my job as a school counselor.  Please feel free to contact me at any time.  I look forward to working with your family this year!
